  • Eat every 3 to 4 hours so that you do not feel very hungry during meals
  • Avoid second helping
  • Eat slowly
  • Avoid junk food
  • Snacks should be low in fat like low calorie popcorn
  • High fiber diet is good
  • Whole grain foods are good
  • Soup is good, like chicken or vegetable soup
  • Use olive or canola oil
  • Eliminate toxins. Stay away from tobacco and keep alcohol to the minimum

If one takes good care of one’ss diet one can lose weight.  One should eat the right foods and avoid food items that add up calories. Sensible eating is recommended.  Exercise restraint while eating. Do not over indulge yourself. Keep a check on the calorie count.
