  1. I think the last thing you should have is alcohol unless you are trying to kill people off. Everywhere else I read and my own doctors strictly warn against even a drop of booze yet you promote red wine????

      We appreciate your concern. You are absolutely right that excessive alcoholic consumption should be discouraged if one is suffering from pancreatitis. However, many believe that Red wine can actually help treat the condition as it provides the necessary nutrient Resveratol.

      Again, it depends primarily on the individual’s condition and your health care provider is the best judge for the same. All we would like to say is “moderation” is the keyword.   2. Why in the world would you recommend ‘red wine’ for pancreatitis as a ‘good thing to drink’….? The disease is caused largely by too much alcohol….
