Fish Facelift Diet: Facelift at Fish Cost

An inexpensive alternative, to the costlier facelift treatments, using natural food is the Fish Facelift Diet or Salmon Diet. It utilizes good food with natural weight loss properties. The diet is only for three days, and does not cause pain or hunger. It is also called a nutritional facelift, developed by Dr. Nicholas Perricone who claims it is a natural alternative to Botox.
This diet emphasizes the use of the Omega-3 fatty acids in fish combined with the antioxidants found in the berry family, such as strawberries, cranberries, blueberries, and the raspberries. This combination claims to prevent premature skin aging.
Dr. Perricone believes that sugar causes inflammation and is responsible for that saggy looking skin. To avoid this, high GI foods like rice, bread, and pasta are not part of this diet. This nutritional facelift diet is rich in protein and emphasizes eating of cold-water fish such as salmon, mackerel, and tuna that contain anti-inflammatory agents.
To provide the needed fat in the diet, olive oil is taken in small amounts along with nut. Fruits and vegetables can be taken in large quantities.

Experts’ viewpoint
Partake of a healthy, balanced diet. Even if the diet does not work for you, the least good it will do is that you will feel lighter and cleaner after the 3-day period. That gives an edge over other diets, doesn’t it?
