Sample food items of a typical Elimination Diet are:
- Grains: buckwheat and millet products,rice and rice products, sago and tapioca.
- Proteins: Lentils,veal, chicken,rabbit,turkey,lamb, tuna, bream, dried peass,whiting.
- Fruits: Pawpaw,peeled pears and apples.
- Vegetables: Cabbage,lettuce,potatoes, sweet potatoes,celery, parsley and bamboo shoots.
- Sweeteners and Seasonings: Sunflower and Safflower oil,salt,sugar,garlic and maple syrup.
- Beverages: Fresh pear juice and water.
