Lemonade Diet

Lemonade diet, also called the Master Cleanse diet, was first described by Stanley Burroughs (a naturopath) in his book in 1976. The diet has again started getting attention since the publication of Peter Glickman’s book in 2004. Lemonade diet is further popularized by singing sensation Beyonce Knowles and Robert Quivers, co-host of the Howard Stern Show.

What is a Lemonade Diet?
Lemonade diet is a temporary (10 day) bowel-cleansing diet that, in many ways, is similar to juice fasting. In this diet, the only source of energy and nutrients are provided by lemonade made with lemons, maple syrup, purified water and cayenne pepper. The drink can be taken along with laxative tea in the evenings.

    I suffered from stomach pain and burning mostly, couldn’t sleep well and just hated those extra pounds I couldn’t get rid of no matter what I did. Now I stumbled upon this system that is easy and it doesn’t require expensive medication or difficult exercises.
