What is Coffee Enema?
Coffee enema involves introducing coffee into the anus so as to cleanse the small intestine and rectum. The idea of using coffee as enema was first conceived by Merck Manual in 1917. In 1920, some German scientists first investigated the effect of coffee on the small intestines and biliary ducts. They found that caffeine solution could open the bile ducts and stimulate the liver to produce bile in experimental animals.

    I’ve had chronic pain & tenderness about 3ins inside the rectum. Coffee in the mornings provoke the need to pass stool, even when I have passed stool earlier.
    Can coffee enema be safe & beneficial to my condition.
    I am 58years old.
