Sleeping Pattern Influences Weight Control

Weight control is a major agenda in everybody’s fitness list. Weight control depends on following three factors:

In fact, sleeping patterns influence the weight of a woman than dietary patterns and physical exercise. So, a good night’s sleep on a regular basis improves the chances of losing weight and staying slim. This has been confirmed by the researchers from Care Western University, Ohio, USA.

Spearheaded by Dr. S Patel, lead researcher of the study, the research examined the effects of sleep on losing weight. In this research the sleeping pattern of 70,000 women were studied for over a decade and-a-half.

Following were the findings of the study:

Dr. Patel, found that appetite of women who sleep less is affected by regulation of hormones. So, they tend to eat less and burn fewer calories, which finally contribute to their weight gain in the long term.

The study results were presented at the American Thoracic Society International Conference, San Diego, California.
